Global Grant is a major international database of scholarships and grants for studies, research, projects, courses, etc. Through Lund University’s computer network you can search the Global Grant scholarship database by logging in using your student account.
A new edition of the Swedish book of scholarship foundations “Stora Fondboken” is released each year, and is available at most libraries, higher education institutions and upper-secondary schools. The book is published by Global Grant, see link above.

Note that these scholarships are not managed by Lund University and that you cannot apply for them through the Lund University scholarship application system. Travel grants to CREST in Kerala, India
SASNET announces two travel grants for Lund University students to the Centre for Research & Education for Social Transformation (CREST) in Kerala, India.
These grants are dedicated for students on BA, MA or PhD level who are planning to do fieldwork in South Asia during 2017. The field work can be conducted elsewhere in the South Asia region, but the students should have CREST as their base and stay there for at least a few weeks (this can be discussed with SASNET) and interact with students there.
Applications will be ranked based on the quality of the project proposal (not more than 5 pages), relevance of the research, grades of the applicant and the experiences as listed in the CV.
Applications, including CV, an up-to-date copy of your Ladok results and a statement from your supervisor approving the trip, should be sent to andreas.johansson [at] sasnet.lu.se by the 31 March 2017.
Creative Biolabs Scholarship, autumn 2017
Creative Biolabs will award a USD 1,000 scholarship to an well performing undergraduate or graduate student student majoring in a science related field, such as Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Molecular Biology.
"Dream NEW" Scholarship for studies in New Zealand
The ”Dream NEW” Scholarship (funded by Education New Zealand) awards 8 scholarships, worth EUR 7,500 each. These scholarships enable Bachelor's and Master's students to spend a semester abroad at any one of eight universities in New Zealand, starting in February/March 2017. Apply by 1 September 2016 for studies starting in spring 2017.
